Puyi SHENG received the Ph.D in bone science from Sun Yat-sen University and the Ph.D in surgery from Medical College, University of Tampere.

盛璞义，先后获双博士学位（中山大学骨科学博士学位及芬兰坦培雷大学医学院获外科学博士学位）。

He currently is an Associate Professor of joint surgery of the first affiliated hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. He is also a associate chief physician and master tutor. He is the deputy director of the research institute for bone science and the deputy director of joint surgery of The first affiliated hospital, Sun Yat-sen University as well as the director of Huangpu Joint Surgery Center.

他现被聘为中山大学附属第一医院关节外科副教授，副主任医师，硕士生导师；任中山大学附属第一医院骨科研究所副所长，关节外科副主任（兼黄埔关节外科中心主任）。

He has been engaged in orthopedics clinical work for more than 10 years. He has been working and studying in Finland's largest specialized artificial joint replacement hospital for nearly 4 years. During this period, more than 300 sets of hip, knee, elbow, shoulder and ankle arthroplasty and renovations were accomplished.

他从事骨科临床工作10余年，在芬兰最大的人工关节置换专科医院工作学习近4年，期间完成髋、膝、肘、肩、踝关节置换和翻修术300余台。

He has published 38 treatises, including 12 SCI papers in JBJS(Am) and JBJS(Br), the world's top clinical journal of orthopedics ( 6 SCI papers for directing doctoral students)
