Bin TANG studied tissue mechanics and cellular mechanics in diseases, publishing nearly 30 SCI papers in leading international academic journals such as Osteoarthritis and Cartilage and Soft Matter, which has been cited more than 500 times.

他主要从事疾病中组织力学及细胞力学方向的研究,在国际一流学术刊物如《Osteoarthritis and Cartilage》及《Soft Matter》等上发表SCI论文近30篇,被引用500余次。

He won the highest citation author award in class B of Shenzhen Peacock Project and International Journal of Solids and Structures.

他曾获得深圳市孔雀计划B类及International Journal of Solids and Structures 杂志颁发的最高引用作者奖。

In his early research work, he invented and expanded the Rate-jump method, also called Tang-Ngan Method, to accurately measure the mechanical properties of viscoelastic materials at the micro-nano scale. It has been recorded in classic textbooks and reference books of material science and biomedical engineering, including Physical Metallurgy and Advanced Materials Engineering, Handbook of Nanoindentation: With Biological applications.

他在早期研究工作中,发明并扩展了可以新型准确测量粘弹性(viscoelastic)材料微纳米尺度下力学特性的率跳跃模型(Rate-jump method, 亦称Tang-Ngan Method),并被收入材料科学及生物医学工程方向的经典教科书及工具书,包括 Physical Metallurgy and Advanced Materials Engineering, Handbook of Nanoindentation: with Biological applications等。
