Professor Jianhua Wu is a committee member of Biophysical Society of China Biological Mechanics and Rheology of the Professional Committee, committee member of the Chinese Society of Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering Society of China Biological Mechanics Professional Committee, executive director of the Biomedical Engineering Society of Guangdong province, director of the Biomechanics Professional Committee members, editors of the Medical Biomechanics and J.of Hydrodynamics magazine,etc.

他是中国生物物理学会生物力学与生物流变学专业委员会委员，中国力学学会/中国生物医学工程学会生物力学专业委员会委员，广东省生物医学工程学会常务理事，生物力学专业委员会主任委员，《医用生物力学》和J.of Hydrodynamics等杂志编委。

Prior to 2000, his main research areas were Marine and Ship Fluid Mechanics. After 2000,his research work involved biomechanics,biophysics,computational biology and information biology. In the past five years, as the project leader, he has undertaken eight projects at the national and provincial levels.

2000年以前，主要研究领域集中于海洋与船舶流体力学，2000以后，研究工作涉及生物力学、生物物理学、计算生物学与信息生物学等领域。近五年，作为项目负责人，承担国家、省部级各类项目八项。

He has published more than 70 papers and presided over 18 scientific research projects at the national and provincial levels. The relevant research results are mainly published in Biophysics j., j. of Biomechanical Engineering, j. of Cell Biology, j. of Biomechanics, j. of Hydrodynamics. J. of Engineering Mechanics, The Medical Biomechanicsand otherwell-known international journals at home and abroad.

他共发表论文七十多篇，主持国家、省部级等各类科研课题十八项。相关研究成果主要发表于Biophysics J., J. of Biomechanical Engineering, J. of Cell Biology，J. of Biomechanics, J. of Hydrodynamics，J. of Engineering Mechanics,《医用生物力学》等国内外著名国际学术期刊之中。
